Our Story

“The shared meal elevates eating from a mechanical process of fueling the body to a ritual of family and community, from the mere animal biology to an act of culture.”

It begins with a simple question: what would happen if we bring six new friends together to share a delicious home-cooked meal?  What great conversations, interdisciplinary discussions, creative projects, or even life long relationships will this meal foster? What’s going on around our family dinner table is both most intimate and extremely social. It’s the heart of our domestic identity and the center of our extended community.

Like a bistro incognito, Table For Six Co. is set at our very own apartment. The setup is simple: every first and third Saturday of the month, we will host a dinner and we invite 6 guests to join. We feel so grateful for our amazing, beautiful, creative groups of guests from all walks of life . Interested? Here’s how to Sign Up Now.

Table for Six Co. is a social experimental project initiated by Nicky Chang (architect & designer) and joins forces with New York City’s rising young chefs.

    Hi Nicky,

    I really like your idea.
Just one question, if I have a party of three or four people for dinner, how should I sign up? cuz I only see plus one, is there option for plus 2 or 3? Thanks.
